There are eight reasons why the refrigerator compressor does not start:
First, check the external power supply and compressor input voltage
Check whether the input voltage of the power supply and compressor meets the standard requirements (187V~242V), and whether the external power supply and compressor input voltage of the AC file with a multimeter are within this range, and if it does not meet the requirements, measures should be taken to adjust to the normal range.
Second, the ambient temperature is too low
a. When the ambient temperature is too low (1~10 °C), if the refrigerator is manually compensated, you need to open the compensation switch at this time, if the magnetic temperature compensation switch, you need to check whether the magnetic switch is normal: because the ambient temperature is too low, especially for the refrigerator of the dual-temperature single-control refrigerator, as long as the compressor works for a short time The refrigerator reaches the predetermined temperature (1~10 °C), and due to the low ambient temperature, the temperature of the refrigerator room rises very slowly or does not rise, the compressor does not work for a long time, and the shutdown time is too long, The temperature of the freezer is too high, not reaching below -18 °C.
b. When the ambient temperature is lower than 0 °C, the refrigerator should be stopped: because when the ambient temperature is lower than 0 °C, the compressor oil thickens and the lubrication performance deteriorates; At the same time, the condensing pressure becomes low, the refrigerant will not flow into the evaporator, and if the refrigerator continues to work properly, it may cause damage to the compressor.
Third, check whether the thermostat or main control board is normal
a. First check whether the thermostat is in the "0" gear, if not in this gear, and then check whether the thermostat is normal: adjust the thermostat gear to the strong cold gear when the power is on (adjust to 7 gear if there is no strong cold gear), if the temperature probe is in the box, you can also use a hot towel to warm the thermostat temperature probe to observe whether the compressor is running. If the compressor does not start, the thermostat may be faulty, at this time the power supply can be cut off to remove the thermostat with a multimeter ohm file to measure whether the power contact and the compressor input contact are on (the resistance value is zero, and the corresponding contact is measured according to the model and parameter sign of the thermostat). If the conduction is turned on, check whether the thermostat temperature sensing tube is broken, cracked, leakage and leakage, and if there is, the thermostat needs to be replaced.
