Due to the continuous low temperature of the weather, when the outdoor temperature is lower than 0 degrees, there will be frequent defrosting, generally the air conditioner defrosts once in about 45 minutes, and each defrosting time is about 10-15 minutes, and the frosting situation will be more frequent in rainy and snowy weather. This situation can only give the air conditioner a break.

Generally, air conditioners are equipped with a defrost circuit, for heat pump type air conditioners in winter heating work, the surface temperature of the evaporator will reach below zero, the surface of the evaporator may be frosted, thick frost layer will cause air flow to be blocked, affecting the heating capacity of the air conditioner, so there is a defrost circuit on the air conditioner.

The defrost controller is also an electric switch that uses temperature control contact action, and it is a special thermostat that removes the frost layer of the outdoor unit heat exchanger coil during heat pump heating.

Its defrosting method is generally reverse circulation ring thermal defrosting, that is, through the on-off of the contact of the defrost controller switch, so that the electromagnetic reversing valve reversing to achieve the effect of defrosting.

The high pressure of the differential pressure meter defrost controller is connected to the air inlet side of the outdoor evaporator surface, and the low pressure is connected to the air outlet side of the outdoor evaporator surface. After the outdoor evaporator frosts, the airflow resistance increases, and the pressure difference between the front and rear changes, so that the defrosting circuit is turned on, so that the electromagnetic power is cut off and the defrost is turned.

The third electronic defrosting controller controls the defrosting circuit through two parameters, temperature and time. It first senses the temperature of the surface of the evaporator of the outdoor unit through a thermistor, and controls the electromagnetic directional valve, and controls the time of defrosting through an integrated circuit
