The reason why PTC electric heating element can be rapidly developed and widely used as a new type of electric heating element is mainly because it has the following unique advantages.


(1) PTC element is a two-end solid element, the use of ceramic technology can be made into different shapes, structures and various dimensions, and can determine the number of components used according to different needs, in the limited space of the working system, reasonable arrangement, which is easy to overcome the technical difficulties in assembly and insulation.


(2) Constant temperature heating. After the entire working system (including heating elements, heat dissipation mechanism, working voltage and ambient temperature) is determined, the working temperature is nearly constant.


(3) Temperature limit and heat. The whole working system determines that the maximum heating temperature of the system will be limited, because the surface has a certain safety.


(4) Temperature compensation can be carried out automatically. When the system temperature fluctuates greatly due to external factors, the PTC heater can quickly adjust the heating power depending on the physical changes of the material itself, automatically compensate for positive and negative temperatures, and maintain constant temperature work.


(5) Can adapt to wide voltage fluctuations. If 220V voltage is used, when the voltage fluctuation ± 20%, it can still maintain a constant temperature.


(6) Good safety. At present, the maximum surface temperature of various PTC components is lower than 400 °C, and there is no open flame when heating, which is not easy to cause combustion.


(7) No oxidation, long service life. PTC components are widely used because of the above advantages; It is especially suitable for some occasions with low temperature and low power. By selecting different PTC materials and components, different thermal systems are designed, and the operating temperature can range from tens of degrees Celsius to more than 300 degrees Celsius, and the power can range from several watts to thousands of watts
