Developed high-voltage PTC cabin heaters for hybrid and battery electric vehicles. The lightweight solution has nothing to do with waste heat and can provide fast, noise-free heating and windshield defrosting for the cabin. In addition, the design of the component also includes multiple safety features to ensure reliable operation under the temperature conditions found by the vehicle.

Heater
Heating the cabin of an electric vehicle can be challenging because of the limited waste heat available compared to vehicles with conventional internal combustion engines. Therefore, it is necessary to provide high-pressure cabin heaters for BEV and HEV. As part of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system and controlled via a high-speed controller area network (CAN) interface, the PTC cabin heater is specially designed to increase the airflow temperature of the blower. It has ceramic PTC components that have very low resistance at low temperatures, allowing full current flow and high heat transfer. At high temperatures, as the resistance of the ceramic stones increases, by turning off the current, this effect is reversed and less heat is released.
With an insulator on the surface, it is safe to use and has high reliability.
High temperature wire is used as the lead wire, which is durable.
With mounting holes, it is easy to install, and the service life is more than 3 years.
Able to heat solids and gases, convenient.
Suitable for air conditioning units, air curtains, dryers, dryers, and automobiles.
This provides ideal control while also acting as a basic safety function to prevent overheating. Other safety features include enclosed heating rods to minimize high pressure. The combination of the fin design of the air heater and the enclosed heater rod is conducive to low pressure drop, making the blower run at a lower speed, thereby reducing the wind speed and noise of the occupants. The combination of the heating rod and the heat sink design provides the industry's first dual-zone function in the PTC heater, which can accurately and smoothly transmit each temperature to the driver and passengers, and eliminate the waste caused by the single-zone heater .
