I often receive inquiries from customers by emails and phone calls on how to reduce the power of high-power electric heating tubes by half, and the original technical characteristics and parameters remain unchanged.
Give you some suggestions:
1. Connect a silicon rectifier diode with a withstand voltage greater than 500V and a current greater than 50A in series. Note that the diode should be equipped with a heat sink to achieve this effect;
2. Find another heating wire with the same specifications as the original high-power heating wire and connect it in series with the original heating wire to achieve this effect;
3. The solution is to adopt the two-way thyristor voltage regulation method, and display a voltmeter in the load.
