1. Resistance characteristics
The resistivity of the molybdenum disilicide heating element increases rapidly with the increase of temperature. Under normal operating conditions, the component resistance generally does not change with the length of use. Therefore, new and old components can be mixed.
2. Surface load
According to the structure of the furnace, the atmosphere and temperature, the correct selection of the surface load of the component is the key to achieve the best component life. The right figure shows the relationship between the furnace temperature, the component temperature and the surface load when the component radiation is unimpeded. The shaded part is the commonly used surface load-temperature range.
