 1. PTC thermistors are also known as positive temperature coefficient thermistors, and most hot air curtain machines today use this heating element. The current passes through the component after provoking the temperature rise, that is, the temperature of the heating element rises, when beyond the Curie point temperature (240 degrees), the resistance increases, thereby limiting the increase in current, so the fall of the current causes the temperature of the component to decrease, the decrease of the resistance value increases the circuit current, the temperature of the component rises, the cycle reciprocates, so it has the function of making the temperature adhere to a specific range, the hot air curtain machine made of this element has the characteristics of fast heating and constant temperature power saving. It can also play a role in overheating maintenance of electrical appliances. (PTC is mainly synthesized with barium titanate, supplemented by other polycrystalline ceramic materials.) )


2. Some low-cost products participate in less barium titanate in PTC, which cannot save electricity and maintain temperature.


3. In daily use, we can check whether qualified PTC components can be used by looking at the current of the hot air curtain. After 2 hours of use of the hot air curtain, the current should fall in the direction and the pointer will gradually shake.


4. It should save about 50% energy when applied in the drying box, and about 30% energy should be saved in the application of hot air curtain machine.
