What happens if the refrigerator defrost tube is broken?

When the defrosting system of the refrigerator fails, the whole machine is very cold.


The following three symptoms may occur:


1) No defrosting at all, the whole evaporator is full of frost.


2) The part of the evaporator close to the heating tube is defrosted normally, and the left and right sides and the top far from the heating tube are full of frost.


3) The frost layer of the evaporator is normal, and the bottom of the evaporator is full of ice.


Specific reasons and elimination methods:


Fault 1: Observe whether the defrost load fault indicator light is flashing (the power on fault indicator light is no longer flashing). If there is no fault indicator light flashing, it is a fault at the defrost information end, generally due to the failure of the evaporator thermostat (the resistance value is small) and its circuit short circuit and leakage. If the fault indicator light is flashing, the defrost load is faulty. Generally, the defrost heating tube is open or its circuit is broken. Pay special attention to whether the defrost heating tube plugin and the socket are closely fitted.


Fault 2: When the frost layer has not been completely removed, the resistance of the defrost thermostat has dropped to the extent of exiting defrosting. At this time, the resistance of the defrost thermostat should be measured, and the R-t diagram should be compared, if the resistance value is small, the thermosensor should be replaced. If the resistance value is normal, change the installation position of the thermostat so that it is farther away from the heating tube.


Fault 3: The heating temperature of the sink is not enough during defrosting. Specific reasons:


1) The sink heater is broken.


2) The sink heater has a certain distance from the sink, so that the heater heat can not be well transferred to the sink, the temperature of the sink is not high enough, and the defrost water freezes again on the sink. Press down on the sink heater so that it fits snugly against the sink.


Fault 4: The power quality such as poor contact of the seat causes sparks, etc., resulting in the accumulation of the internal clock of the main control board into the defrosting time zero, when the power is off, the compressor cumulative time of the main control board will be cleared to zero, so that the refrigerator cannot enter the defrost state.


Fault 5: The value of the defrosting thermistor changes. If the cumulative working time of the refrigerator has reached the time of defrosting, and the defrost thermistor detects the temperature of the evaporator, it will exit the defrost if it does not meet the defrosting conditions, and the possible reason is usually that the resistance is small.
