The heating tubes are now widely used in our lives. There are liquid electric heating tubes for heating liquids and air heating tubes for heating gases.

Therefore, the corresponding heating tube materials should be selected according to different heating environments when designing the heating tubes.
The material of electric heating tube is directly in contact with the heated body, so when selecting the shell material of electric heating tube, we should consider the working temperature of the heating tube (pay attention to the maximum temperature allowed for different shell materials of electric heating tube) and whether there is corrosivity.
Stainless steel and nickel base alloy steel are the most widely used materials for heating tubes. The main materials used for electric heating tubes in stainless steel are stainless steel 304, stainless steel 321 and stainless steel 310S.
The shell materials of commonly used heating tubes are as follows:
Stainless steel 304, generally allowable temperature resistance is 400 ° C;
Stainless steel 321, generally allowable temperature resistance is 600 ° C;
Stainless steel 310S, generally allowable temperature resistance is 700 ° C;
Nickel base alloy steel is mainly made of imported Ingley 800 and Ingley 840 materials.
