1. The remaining water after cleaning the electric boiler corrodes the copper pipe
The copper electric heating tube of the electric boiler was corroded and perforated after a summer shutdown.
Reason: After the boiler stops running, the electric boiler needs to be cleaned, and the acidic substance with NO₃﹣ is added to remove the scale. After cleaning, the acidic water cannot be completely cleaned with clean water, and there is still a part in the boiler that chemically reacts with copper. In the reaction, Cu+2HNO3=Cu(NO3)2+H2, the produced copper nitrate is phthalocyanine blue.
Corrective measures: After cleaning the electric boiler, use a lot of clean water to wash away the acidic water.
2. Poor water quality causes galvanic corrosion of stainless steel pipes
After four months of operation, the stainless steel pipe has been electrochemically corroded, but the copper pipe is still intact. This phenomenon only occurs in a few areas such as Gaoqing Cangzhou. After analysis, it is the result of poor water quality.
3. The live wire is connected to the shell, causing electrocution and death
The electric shower was installed in winter. It was not used because it was too cold. In the summer, one person was electrocuted and killed. After inspection, the insulation and pressure resistance of the electric heating tube met the standards, and the other control parts of the shower were also normal. Finally, it was found that the live wire, neutral wire, and ground wire in the input room were reversed. The real reason was that during the Spring Festival, the external circuit was repaired and the electrician incorrectly connected the live wire.
