The relationship between furnace gas and silicon carbide heating rods

Using silicon carbide rods in the furnace, the operating temperature can reach 1700°C. In a reducing atmosphere, its high operating temperature is 1500℃. The kiln gas contains a large amount of oxides such as sulfur, sodium, boron, etc., which will react strongly with the silicon-carbon rod, which will make the entire rod body fat and damaged within a few days. When using silicon carbide heating element, the material channel must be completely separated from the flame space of the working pool. Because of the low volatile content in the general feed channel, the impact on it is very small.
