The necessity of electric heating tube inspection

It is reminded that there is a certain necessity for the detection of electric heating tubes of heating equipment, which is not only an emphasis on one's own products, but also a respect for customers. Strict testing of products and the flow of qualified products to the market to customers is the necessary standard for our company's operation. Our company is not only the heating equipment of electric heating tube, but all kinds of heating equipment produced by our company, including electric heating wire, constantan wire, heating tube, stainless steel electric heating tube, etc., are tested by the company's strict quality inspection department.


The detection of electric heating tube mainly includes the following aspects:


Insulation and compression strength of the heating tube: 1200V/50HZ sinusoidal AC voltage is applied between the heating wire in the heating tube and the metal shell for 1 min, and there should be no breakdown. Before and after shrinking, the pressure resistance of 2500 to 3000 must be ensured.

The deviation of the rated power of the electric heating tube: under the condition of sufficient heating, the deviation of the rated power of the heating tube should not exceed the range specified below: a. For electric heating tubes with a rated power of less than or equal to 100W: ±10%; b. For electric heating tubes with a rated power greater than 100W: +5%~-10% or 10W, whichever is greater.


Insulation resistance of electric heating tube: Tested with a 500V megohmmeter in a normal test environment, the insulation resistance between the heating wire in the stainless steel heating tube and the metal shell should not be less than 25MΩ;

Sealing test of electric heating tube: Place the stainless steel heating tube in an environment with a temperature of 60℃ and a humidity of 95% for 24hrs;


Overload test of the electric heating tube: the electric heating tube is energized at 1.27 times the rated power for 1 hrs under the condition of full heat release, and cooled for 0.5 hrs to room temperature (forced cooling is allowed) after the power is turned off. Repeat this cycle for 30 times without damage;


Electric heating tube shell sealing test (tube crack test): immerse the electric heating tube in acidified water (2%~3% hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid or nitric acid) for 3hrs. 3 performance requirements;

The life test of the electric heating tube: the electric heating tube is energized at the rated voltage for 1hrs under the condition of full heat release, and cooled for 0.5hrs to room temperature (forced cooling is allowed), and the accumulated working time reaches 3000hrs.


The detection is carried out in combination with the above. Strict testing is carried out at every level. The final products are all qualified. For unqualified products, our technology will analyze where the problem is, and then make a summary. The final unqualified products will be destroyed.
