When the user buys the solar electric heating cable, how to install it? Which installation method is best to choose? It really makes it difficult for users. In fact, the installation of solar electric heating cable is very simple, as long as the following installation essentials are mastered, the user can install it by himself.
Installation method
1. If the diameter of the water heater pipe is greater than 3 cm, the winding installation method shall be adopted. Attach the solar electric heating cable to the pipeline, and wrap it in parallel at equal distances. Pay attention to keep the electric heating cable as flat as possible without any discount. And fix it with aluminum foil tape or pressure-sensitive tape, and then cover it with a sealing and waterproof insulation layer.
2. The diameter of the water heater pipe is less than 3 cm (including 3 cm), and the single parallel installation method is adopted. Attach the solar electric heating cable to the pipeline and lay it in parallel without leaving any gap between the electric heating cable and the pipeline, and fix it with pressure-sensitive tape or aluminum foil tape, and then put on a better waterproof insulation layer.
Insulation pipeline
1. The water supply pipeline of the solar water heater and the water supply pipeline are cold water to prevent the sub-zero temperature from causing the pipeline to freeze or burst;
2. The heated downspout pipe is hot water, which can maintain the temperature of the hot water, supplement the lost heat, and prevent the pipe from freezing and cracking;
Precautions
1. Do not make the electric heating cable folded or overlapped to prevent short-circuit fire and poor thermal insulation effect.
2. There is no gap between the electric heating cable and the pipeline, and the thermal insulation effect is better.
3. The junction box at the end of the electric heating cable (terminal junction box) has good sealing performance, and the end of the installation end should be placed outdoors;
4. The maximum length of the solar electric heating cable is 50 meters, and it should be installed as much as possible. When the heating cable and the heating cable need to be connected and installed, an intermediate junction box can be used, and the sealing should be done to prevent the junction box from entering the water.
5. Install leakage protection switch or air switch.
