1. The classification is different

According to the material classification, it can be divided into stainless steel electric heating pipe, quartz electric heating tube, Teflon electric heating pipe, titanium electric heating tube. According to the classification of use, it can be divided into dry-fired electric heating pipes and water-fired electric heating pipes. According to the classification of heating methods, it can be divided into conventional resistance heating tubes and radiant electric heating tubes.
2. Different uses
Heating wire: the main use is metallurgical machinery, medical, chemical, ceramics, electronics, electrical appliances, glass and other industrial heating equipment and civil heating appliances.
Electric heating pipe: the application field is saltpeter tank, water tank, oil tank, acid and alkali tank.
3. Precautions are different
Heating wire: The maximum use temperature of the element refers to the surface temperature of the element itself in the dry air, not the temperature of the furnace or the heated object, and the surface temperature is generally about 100 degrees higher than the furnace temperature. The maximum use temperature of the component is also quite related to the wire diameter of the component, under normal circumstances, the maximum use temperature of the component should not be less than 3mm, and the thickness of the flat strip should not be less than 2mm.
Electric heating tube: the element is allowed to work under the following conditions, the relative humidity of the air is not more than 95%, and there are no explosive and corrosive gases. The working voltage should not be greater than 1.1 times the rated value, and the shell should be effectively grounded. The components should be stored in a dry place, if the insulation resistance is lower than 1MΩ due to long-term placement, it can be dried in an oven at about 200 °C, or reduce the voltage and energize heating until the insulation resistance is restored.
