Everyone knows that when customers are consulting products, they often ask us how long, from how many degrees to how many degrees, and how much power we need to do. Today we will explain the calculation method of heater power.
First of all, the calculation of heating power should pay attention to the following three aspects:
1. Power at starting 2. Power at running 3. Heat loss in the system
Secondly, the following four worst cases should be considered when calculating:
1. The lowest ambient temperature
2. The shortest operating cycle
3. The highest operating temperature
4. The maximum weight of the heating medium (the flow medium is the maximum flow rate)
Third, the three steps of electric heater power design:
1. According to the process, draw the heating process flow chart (not involving material form and specifications).
2. Calculate the heat required for the process.
3. Calculate the heat and time required for system startup.
Fourth, consider the appropriate safety factor to determine the total power of the heater.
1. Determine the sheath material and power density of the heating element.
2. Determine the form, size and quantity of heaters.
3. Determine the power supply and control system of the heater.
Finally, let's talk about the basic formula for calculating power:
1. Power required for initial heating:
kw=(C1M1ΔT+C2M2ΔT)+864/p+p/2
In the formula: C1 and C2 are the specific heat of the container and the medium respectively (kcal/kg℃)
M1 and M2 are the mass of the container and medium (kg)
ΔT is the difference between the required temperature and the initial temperature (℃)
H is the time required to heat the initial temperature to the set temperature (h)
P is the heat dissipation of the container at the final temperature (kw)
2. The power required to maintain the temperature of the medium:
kw=C2M3ΔT/864+P
In the formula: the medium added per hour by M3 (kg/h)
Total power: Take the maximum value of the above two powers and consider the 1.2 factor.
