When used on motors, there is no difference between Kapton film and insulating paper on the electrical isolation of components. However, generally insulating paper is preferred, and the substrate of Kapton film is more expensive. The suitable insulation properties of the paper are also sufficient on the motor, and both have excellent physical properties in their wide temperature range.
