Electric heating tube as the core accessories of the heating link in industrial production, widely used by major industries, when choosing a variety of electric heating tubes, customers often have this question: electric heating tube long-term low-power work easy to break?


Let's throw the answer first: under normal design, the long-term low-power work of the electric heating tube is not easy to damage. Let's briefly talk about the reason.


First of all, the operation of electric heating tubes at low power is divided into the following two situations:


First, the rated power of the electric heating tube is low. For example, when an electric heating tube with a rated voltage power of 220V 50W is connected to 220V, its use power is 50W;


Second, the power used by the electric heating tube is lower than the rated power. For example, if the rated voltage power is 380V 600W electric heating tube connected to 110V voltage, its use power is 50W.


In the above two cases, it is 50W of low power use, the difference is that the product in the first example is originally designed according to low power, and the electric heating tube is used under the rated voltage, as long as the heating tube is within a reasonable design range, if it is not human error, it is not easy to be damaged. But if there is a problem with the product design (the size is too small, the material is not selected, etc.), the material itself cannot withstand the power of 50W, and the service life will also be reduced.


The second example is that the product itself has a high power rating design, but the actual power is reduced when using a low-voltage power supply. This reason is: the resistance value of each electric heating tube is fixed after it is done, and the relationship between power (W), voltage (E) and resistance (R) is:


W=E*E/R


Therefore, reducing the use voltage will directly affect the product power, and the unit load of the product material when using low power is also correspondingly reduced, which not only does not cause damage to the heating tube, but can extend the service life.


In summary, under normal design, the long-term low-power work of the electric heating tube is not easy to damage.
