PTC heater is a kind of equipment that converts electricity into heat energy for explosion-proof occasions. It is used to heat up, keep warm, and heat the flowing or static liquid, gas, and solid media. If users ignore safety, fires may occur at any time, so in order to avoid fires, Lianyungang PTC heater manufacturers should pay attention to the following items:
★ The PTC heater tube should be plugged correctly, and it is strictly forbidden to insert the wire end directly into the socket, otherwise it will short-circuit and cause a fire;
★ The electric heating tube should be well positioned and fixed, and the effective heating area must be completely immersed in liquid or metal solid, and empty burning is strictly prohibited. When it is found that there is scale or carbon on the surface of the tube, the PTC heater manufacturer should clean it up and use it in time, so as not to affect the heat dissipation and shorten the service life.
★ When heating fusible metals or solid nitrates, alkalis, bitumen, paraffin, etc., the operating voltage should be lowered first, and the voltage can be increased to the rated voltage after the medium is melted.
★ When heating the air, the components should be arranged crosswise and evenly, so that the components have good heat dissipation conditions, so that the air flowing through can be fully heated.
★ The wiring part should be placed outside the insulation layer to avoid contact with corrosive, explosive media, and moisture; the lead wire should be able to withstand the temperature and heating load of the wiring part for a long time, and excessive force should be avoided when the wiring screws are tightened.
★ The components should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance is lower than 1M due to long-term storage, they can be dried in an oven at about 200°C, or the voltage can be reduced and heated until the insulation resistance is restored.
★ The magnesium oxide powder at the outlet end of the electric heating tube prevents the infiltration of pollutants and moisture in the place of use to prevent leakage accidents.
Attention to the use of PTC heating film:
1) The PTC heating element has the characteristics of automatic constant temperature, no temperature control system is needed, and the PTC heating element can be directly energized.
2) When the PTC heating element is used to heat liquid (such as water), the PTC heating element will not be damaged after the liquid is dried.
3) If the PTC heating element is used to heat the cold air, the PTC heating element will not be damaged when the air is not supplied.
4) There are four kinds of electrodes for customers to choose: printed aluminum, printed aluminum + silver, melt-blown metal aluminum, electroless nickel + silver.
5) Long service life, under normal environment, the service life can reach more than 10 years.
6) Reliable work, using the internal characteristics of the PTC heater to control the temperature, and never over-temperature.
7) The working voltage is very wide. When the operating voltage changes twice, the change in surface temperature is very small.
8) This product does not have wires and insulation layers. Customers also choose products with wires and insulation layers, or products with shells.
9) When multiple PTC heating elements are used together, they should be connected in parallel, not in series.
10) Different heat dissipation conditions make the heating power of the PTC heating piece very different.
