1. Choose the type of heating tube according to the operating temperature and pressure of the process. The temperature and pressure conditions determine the type of steel pipe and heat transfer medium used.
2.Choose the diameter and wall thickness of the heating tube according to the pressure and temperature requirements of the process.
3. Choose the size, length and number of heating tubes according to the total heat exchange capacity or external surface area, and the actual working environment.
4. Choose fittings according to the connection between the heating tube and the process pipe, as well as the requirements for drainage and equipment installation;
5. Determine the material, shape and length of insulation according to the environment temperature and heat losses.
