First, the pig farm heating method
1. Coal stove
Ordinary coal-fired heating facilities are often used in areas with cold weather and sufficient supply of lump coal, the fuel used is lump coal, the advantage is fast heating speed, easy to move, can be installed and used at any time, can be used for pig house emergency.
2. Honeycomb coal stove
The fuel used is honeycomb coal, and the heating speed and amount are slower and less than that of coal stoves, but it is used in many parts of the country because it is smoke-free and easy to use. The advantage is that it is easy to move, can be installed and used at any time, and does not have to install a cigarette pipe in case of emergency, which is more convenient than coal stoves.
3. Wall of fire
The fire tunnel made of bricks and other materials against the wall of the pig house, because the wall is thicker, the thermal insulation performance is better, the fire wall is mostly used in colder areas, if the fire outlet is located outside the pig house, it can also prevent the adverse effects of soot or dust.
4. Ground Ondol
The bottom of the pig house is designed as a fire channel, when the fire is burning below, the ground maintains a certain temperature, because the heat is dissipated from the bottom up, the ondol can not only maintain a suitable temperature, but also ensure the temperature of the pig when the temperature of the pig house is low, which greatly saves costs. In addition, the kang can be designed in the form of firewood and grass, fueled by cheap weeds or crop straw, which can reduce the cost to a minimum, and in the straw-rich agricultural area, small pig farms have sufficient manpower, which is very affordable.
5. Floor heating
Similar to the ground kang, but the difference is that the circulating water pipe is buried in the cement floor, and when heating is needed, the boiler water is heated, and the hot water is driven into the circulating water pipe in the cement floor through the circulating pump to increase the ground temperature. This method is used on many farms and works very well, it does not take up floor area, and the old barn can be easily rebuilt. If an insulating cushion is laid under the cement floor to prevent heat from being dissipated below, some coal burning costs can be saved.
6. Plumbing
The same residents use plumbing, but because pigs are generally at a low level, the heat of the water radiator is rising, the heating effect is general, and the investment is large, the floor space is also large, and the use is decreasing.
7. Air warmth
With water heating, the heating speed is faster, it is easy to meet the temperature requirements of various pig houses, and the disadvantage is that the boiler workers have higher requirements and are not suitable for small pig farms.
8. Plastic greenhouse
The most common facility used by farmers to raise pigs is with low investment and easy to use.
9. Electric air conditioning
The investment is large, the cost is high, and it can only be used for emergency use.
10. Hot air fan
Also called livestock and poultry air conditioning, is to blow the heat of the boiler through the fan to the pig house, the temperature in the house is uniform, and clean and hygienic, the price is much cheaper than electric air conditioning, many large pig farms are in use.
11. Infrared lamp
A good choice for local heating, suitable for emergencies, especially for use in new herds, easy to operate and very popular with breeders.
Second, safe heating precautions
1. Furnace smoke
The phenomenon that often occurs when using coal stoves, honeycomb coal stoves or fire walls, especially when making fires, often makes the black smoke miasma in the house, and makes the air quality significantly worse in the relatively dense pig house, which is not conducive to the health of pigs. In addition, some pig farm coal stoves or honeycomb coal stoves do not contain smoke pipes, which are also easy to cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Because pigs are more tolerant to carbon monoxide than humans, they often cause chronic poisoning without being detected, so when using coal stoves or honeycomb coal stoves, cigarette pipes must be installed.
2. Fire
Fires caused by heating occur from time to time, especially in wooden pig houses, and the smoke pipe must be kept away from flammable materials. At the same time, during the heating season, personnel should be arranged to be on duty at night to prevent accidents.
3. Humidity of plastic shed
Plastic greenhouses are most prone to excessive humidity in winter, mainly because the moisture in the pig house cannot be discharged, so when using plastic greenhouses, ventilation holes should be reserved on the roof of the shed to prevent excessive heat loss in the ventilation holes. It can be considered that the ventilation hole is covered with a straw curtain at night, which does not affect the ventilation and also plays a role in heat preservation. When building a plastic greenhouse, if it is designed to be convenient to uncover the straw curtain, the straw curtain is covered at night and uncovered during the day, which is more conducive to pig production.
4. Water circulation of heating and hot blast stove
Heating and hot blast furnace water circulation phenomenon occurs from time to time, once the circulation is blocked, hot water will not be able to be delivered in place, can not play the role of heating. Another phenomenon is that due to poor design, the heating pipe is unevenly heated, some areas are hot, and some areas are not hot, resulting in uneven temperature in the pig house.
5. Livestock and poultry air conditioners should be used reasonably
Livestock and poultry air conditioners are not as reliable as electric air conditioners, and there are often some problems, which often cause unusability if you do not know how to use or maintain them. Sometimes human control is required to regulate the air conditioner. Therefore, when purchasing livestock and poultry air conditioners, the instruction manual must be kept well, generally there are small problems, you can refer to the instructions to adjust, this phenomenon often occurs when replacing breeders or electricians.
6. Don't ignore air quality
When the weather is cold, the pig house is often closed very tightly, the amount of fresh air entering is small, and the amount of oxygen in the house is often insufficient, which affects the production of pigs, so do not ignore the air quality when keeping warm, so as not to lose one or the other.
