PI heating film, also known as Kapton heating film, is made from Kapton, a polyimide film developed by DuPont. PI heating film provides the thinnest profile of all flexible heating films, providing precise heat distribution and excellent tensile strength. They also work well in extremely hot environments or in tight spaces. PI heating sheet, silicone heating sheet are more commonly used heating plate materials. However, each material has its own specific field, and the general PI film heating sheet is suitable for use on small areas and relatively thin workpieces; Silicone heating sheet can be used in a large area, leakage under the link.
At present, there are also heating plates using silicone coating and epoxy resin coated with CL-24S-2PA and PI film. Need attention: silicone aluminum plate, due to the excellent thermal conductivity of aluminum alloy. In the industry, it is also common to glue silicone sheets with CL-24W coated aluminum alloy (high-temperature molding) to make heating plates.
