Electrical heat tracing insulation layers are generally modified polyolefins, flame retardant polyolefins, fluoroolefins, perfluorinated materials, etc., these insulation layers play a role in ensuring current transmission along the conductor and preventing current oil leakage. The improved polyolefin insulation layer has good electrical insulation performance, that is, high breakdown field strength, large insulation resistance, high voltage resistance with a thin thickness, and reduced current leakage.
In the electric heat tracing, the insulation layer not only plays the role of insulation and anti-static, but also plays a protective role for the inside of the heat trace, preventing the electric heat trace wire from being exposed to the outside after the friction of the electric trace is damaged and causing damage, etc., the electric heat trace insulation layer must have good mechanical and physical properties, which can meet the requirements of processing, laying installation and use.
