Anyone who has used an old-fashioned refrigerator has the experience that a thick frost will occur when the freezer is used for a long time. This is due to the large moisture content in the refrigerator, and it is normal to frost in case of cold. The same is true of cold storage, which will also produce frost phenomenon, and the frost is thicker, which affects the refrigeration effect and the opening of the cold storage door. Cold storage door antifreeze uses electric heat tracing to defrost, and uses 24V electric heat trace (36V DC heat trace) to regularly defrost the condenser pipe. The edge of the cold storage door is a thick rubber material, which is at low temperature for a long time, and it is difficult to open after frosting. Cold storage doors often freeze, which are not only difficult to open, but also cause damage to the sealing rubber with long-term use. In addition, after the air cooler in the cold storage continues to work for a period of time, frost or even freeze will appear on the air blades of the air cooler because the cold storage has been in a low temperature working state. Therefore, there are three locations where the cold storage needs to use electric heat tracing for defrosting: condenser pipes, cold storage doors, and air coolers.
Condenser tube
Generally, the temperature in the cold storage is low, some as low as minus tens of degrees Celsius, and the condensation pipe in the warehouse defrosts, which is equivalent to putting the electric cable in a lower use environment, and it is not recommended to use low voltage, ordinary materials or specifications of the electric trace.
Cold storage doors
In order not to affect the sealing effect, it is recommended to choose the basic self-limiting temperature electric trace, or choose a low-voltage electric trace of 24~48V.
Air cooler
Electric heating products are used on the air cooler, and the electric heat trace dissipates heat, compensates for the heat loss of the medium, and achieves the role of defrosting and ice melting. In this way, the service life of the air cooler is increased and the operating costs of the cold storage are also reduced.
